Session Manager |
Session Manager defines the trading hours of the instrument. Whether the incoming ticks will be appended or not depends on the applied session template. Again, how the bars will be rendered on the x-axis also depends on the session template. This is particularly true for a non-equi-distant x-axis (time based x-axis).
ArthaChitar not only allows you to define the normal trading hours, it also lets you define exceptions like holidays and special trading sessions.
Please follow the below steps to invoke the Session Manager View
In Main View menu bar goto Settings > Session Manager
You can define the session template while opening a chart from the Bars selector view.
To make a particular session template as default, you can edit the instrument definition from Settings > Instrument Manager. You can define the session template while creating a new instrument definition or while editing an existing instrument definition.
