AlphaVantage Connection

Please follow the below steps to make a connection to AlphaVantage:

• In the "Main View" goto Connection > Add Edit Connection
• In the Add Edit connection view click on the Add button
• In the "New Connection View" select 'External Connection' as the Connection Type
• Append a name in the Name textBox
• Select 'AlphaVantage' from the Type drop down menu, which will further populate the settings
• Append the AlphaVantage API key in the API text box
• Is split adjusted - Check if you want split adjusted bars (requires a premium API key)
• Is compact - Check for compact (last 100 bars) or full data (full data for the month/year)
• Is extended hours - Check if minute data includes extended hours data. Uncheck for regular trading hour data.
• Click on the Close button and exit the Add Edit connection view

Now you will be able to connect to the newly created AlphaVantage connection from, in Main View menu bar goto Connection > Available Connections > {name of the connection}
