How to add an instrumentPlease follow the below steps to create a new Instrument
- In Main View menu bar goto Settings > Instrument Manager
 - Click on the Add button (located at the top right)
 - In the New Instrument View > General Tab fill the Instrument details
 - In the Symbols tab append the symbol specific to the connection. You must append symbol for atleast one connection.
 - Click the Ok button

How to edit an instrumentPlease follow the below steps to edit an Instrument
- In Main View menu bar goto Settings > Instrument Manager
 - Click on the Edit button (will be visible upon selecting the instrument definition)
 - In the General Tab edit the necessary information
 - In the Symbols tab add/edit the symbol specific to the connection. You must append symbol for atleast one connection.
 - Click the Ok button
 
How to delete an instrumentPlease follow the below steps to delete an Instrument
- In Main View menu bar goto Settings > Instrument Manager
 - Type in the name of the instrument (or part of it) in the search TextBox and click on the search button
 - Select the instrument you want to delete from the listBox
 - Click the Delete button (will be visible upon selecting the instrument definition)
 
How to adjust for Split-BonusPlease follow the below steps to adjust the data for splits. and bonuses
- In the New Instrument View click on the Splits tab
 - Append the Split date (the date on which the split took place)
 - Append the split ratio
 - Click on Add button
 
For example CanFin Homes had a 5:1 split and the Ex-date was on 12th Oct 2017. So the Split date will be 12th Oct 2017 and the Split ratio will be 5 (five)
Note: Please make sure the option 'Is Split Adjusted' is checked in the Options settings
- In Main View menu bar goto Settings > Options
 - In the Options View click on the Data tab
 - Check on the option 'Is Split Adjusted'
 
How to adjust for dividendsPlease follow the below steps to adjust the data for dividends
- In the New Instrument View click on the Dividends tab
 - Append the dividend date (the ex-date)
 - Append the dividend amount (in points)
 - Click on Add button
 
For example Hindustan Unilever declared a 650% dividend on its face value of Rs. 1.00, the ex-date being 19th Oct '15. Thus the dividend date will be 19 Oct '15 and the Amount will be 6.5
