A simple volume profile script.

How to import
Download the attachments and import the zip file

• Go to Settings> Sharp Script > Import
• Browse to the downloaded Zip File and click Ok
• Restart ArthChitra.

Note: Please make sure you are importing the script using ArthaChitra version 1.0.0.3 or above

I have downloaded the zip and imported it into ArthaChitra. However, am only getting the volume under the candlestick chart and not the market profile.

Under the indicators drop down box I am getting the following
CustomPlot
SMA
VOL
MacD
RSI

and selected indicator as VOL(Close of RELIANCE(Minute(1)))

Am I doing something wrong??

Hello SeanFallon,
Volume Profile is a BarType and it is listed in BarType colume while opening a chart.

• In Main View menu bar goto New > Chart
• In the Open Chart View select any Instrument
• On the Right Pane Click on the BarType Combo box
• Select Volume Profile.

Please refer to the attached screenshot which further demonstrates it.
Please do remember, Volume Profile BarType requires Tick data, and currently NOW connection appends tick data in real time only (i.e. no historical backfill).
Volume profile and market profile are different concepts and the Volume profile barType does not incorporates Market Profile.
